McCann World Group is a leading global marketing solutions network with over 20,000 employees united across 100+ countries by a single vision: To help brands play a meaningful role in people’s lives. We were contracted to design and produce a custom neon art piece for their Birmingham, MI location.
Project Overview
McCann had the vision to turn a storage room into a unique studio space with vibrant artwork, black brick walls, and special lighting. The majority of the staff walked by the open glass door to this room on a daily basis and the goal was to add a custom lighted element that could be seen through the glass as traffic walked by.
Signarama worked with McCann’s design team to turn their vision into a lighted, neon sign that was mounted directly to the brick and eye level. The neon was comprised of several colors in a wheel pattern. The challenge was producing the neon correctly in this pattern while also ensuring that from a distance the neon did not “blur.”
The Result
The completed sign transformed the studio and achieved all the goals the customer had. Signarama strives to create these types of custom signs that test our fabrication and design skills. This unique neon sign remains one of our favorite projects!
