About The Client
Ambassador Salon came to us because we are right down the road from them, and they had driven by our shop many times. They had an open mind about their project, their only concerns being: 1. That the cigar logo part of the sign was as big as possible, and 2. To make sure their audience knew that they could get more than just cigars. They could also get adult beverages!
Project Overview
To create this unique order, we broke the sign up into 2 wall cabinets and a set of channel letters mounted to a backer panel. We used a translucent vinyl overlay for the cabinets and those were flush mounted to the building façade. For the channel letters, we fabricated the white faces with black trim caps. This was mounted to a backer panel that matched the color of the vinyl used for the cabinet signs. The backer panel could not be mounted flush to the façade due to a drain pipe. Instead, our team mounted the backer panel to a raceway in order to get the cabinets to be a flush mount to the building. The channel letters backer had to be mounted to 2 raceway pieces to make a gap for the drain pipe.
The Result
The process took about 4 weeks from start to finish. Signarama Troy has done banners for them as well as their tenant panel on the strip mall monument sign, and the sign was up well before they opened. They were even kind enough to invite us to their grand opening!
