About The Client
We recently had the chance to help Ah-Ha Noodles with their channel letters at the Laurel Park Place Mall in Livonia. Ah-Ha Noodles is a growing chain of restaurants that produce great food with authentic Northern Chinese dishes. Their dishes are designed for the harsh cold winters of Northern China. They feature rich, bold, and salty flavors.
Project Overview
The restaurant space is crowded and competitive and owners need to take steps to establish a strong brand presence to ensure their restaurant stands apart from other businesses. As you can see in the accompanying photo, Ah-Ha decided to go with halo-lit channel letters at the Laurel Park Mall. These are also called ‘backlit’ letters. The idea is that the L.E.D.s are inside and shine through a clear piece of plexiglass at the back of the letters. The light then bounces off the wall and produces a cool ‘halo’ effect around the sign. The letters themselves were handcrafted and painted to match the Ah-Ha logo.
We added in a custom red LED for an extra bold look that assisted in bringing the branding colors into the sign. It may be a little thing, but it is a belief in perfection that separates Signarama from the competition.
The Result
The end result was a beautiful sign for a great restaurant. We are currently working with the brand on their second location located inside the Briarwood Mall in Ann Arbor! We highly recommend you check out this existing business’s unique flavors.
