About Troy Community Center
The Troy Community Center is a 127,000-square-foot facility that serves as the heart of Troy, Michigan. It houses the Troy Recreation Department, a Fitness Center, Banquet Center, Rainbow Preschool, and the newly expanded Senior Center. Residents of all ages benefit from opportunities for personal development, social interaction, and stress relief.
The center’s outdoor amenities include jogging and walking paths, bocce and shuffleboard courts, and a playground adjacent to Rainbow Preschool. These features make it a hub for fitness, family activities, and community engagement.
Project Overview
The Troy Community Center wanted an updated monument sign on Livernois Road, just north of the Liberty Center. The previous sign was difficult to see, making it less effective in drawing attention to this important community space. With over 88,000 Troy residents relying on this center, visibility was critical.
Signarama Troy worked closely with Kurt Bovensiep, Troy’s Public Works Director, to create a highly visible and informative sign. The new design prominently features the address and “Troy Community Center,” ensuring it stands out to passersby.
Kurt Bovensiep shared, “The new monument sign enhances the center’s visibility and strengthens its connection with the community.”
Results
The new monument sign has transformed the visibility of the Troy Community Center. Residents and visitors now easily recognize its location, thanks to the sign’s bold and clear design.
This updated signage contributes to increased awareness of the community center’s offerings. It further strengthens its role as a vital resource for Troy residents.
By focusing on clear communication and thoughtful design, Signarama Troy delivered a sign that truly makes an impact.
