With 30-years as a licensed and insured builder in Michigan and Florida, Charleston Design and Build reached out for signage for their Michigan-based location in Birmingham. Charleston specializes in custom homes, additions, and renovations both residential and commercial. Their beautiful showroom, located just outside of the downtown Birmingham area, needed a sign at the entrance to represent their business.
Project Overview
Charleston’s building was a dark slate grey that was set back from the main road. Our goal was to provide a sign that was simple, elegant, and attention grabbing. Custom dimensional letters were produced to be placed on the overhang above the entrance. The silver letters were unique in that the finish was mirrored to reflect the light. The result gave the letters considerable contrast both during the day and night.
Dimensional letters can be customized to fit any space with a wide variety of available finishes, thicknesses and mounting options. Choosing the right finish can mean the difference between a sign that is hard to read and unnoticeable to one that is vibrant and eye-catching.
