About The Client
Hartland Brewing opened its doors at the beginning of 2019. Their brewhouse features a range of beers light and dark but they also have hard cider and wine options. Hartland Brewing also serves traditional American style pizza, sandwiches, salads, and more.
Project Overview
The brewery reached out to us by phone at the end of 2018 looking for an illuminated sign. They came to us from a referral from a previous relationship our team had fostered. Per the landlord/plaza guidelines they knew they needed a channel letter sign and with direction and their logo, we began the design/preliminary quote phase.
In most cases, especially with channel letter signs, it is hard to go from logo concept on paper to emulating that as the finished product. However, their logo translated very well!! With their logo blown up and scaled to the proper size we were able to produce all the letters as individual channel letters larger than general our 6” letter limitation. Each of the letters were mounted to raceways or aluminum channel to minimize the penetrations in wall façade per the lease agreement.
Once the proposal and preliminary art were sent over to the client for approval, they were ready to go right away with no hesitation. We proceeded with permits quickly and had the sign installed within about 6 weeks.
The Result
When the wall sign was installed, it was perfect! Going back to the logo was a great choice for their signage, as the landscape orientation fit the space nicely.
