About The Client
Paul K. Cousino Senior High School is a public secondary school located in Warren, Michigan. It lies on Hoover Road, just south of 13 Mile Road. Part of the Warren Consolidated Schools district, it serves the north Warren area and parts of southern Sterling Heights. We placed the bid through George W. Auch Construction Company for this project and we were selected to complete the work.
Project Overview
The bid for the project included the removal of an old LED sign and replacing it with a new one. The original LED sign had red text and they wanted the new one to be a double-sided full-color display. The LED sign took 4-8 weeks to produce. Our installer then went onsite to remove the original signage and then double-checked the electricity to make sure it was adequate for the new LED sign. Once this was completed, the installer uploads the program and then shows the owners how to use the sign. The brightness on this particular LED sign is higher during the day and dims at night.
The Result
Daktronics is one of the best LED companies out there and offer a very flexible signage solution. Many of their products are made in the United States and have worked with them on many projects previously with success! The folks at Cousino High School were very impressed with their new LED Message Center and how the project turned out.
