About The Client
Richmond is one of the coolest little towns in Michigan. They are known for their Good Old Days Festival – many people take a day trip to visit this town to get away from it all. This project was brought to us by bid through the City of Richmond and OCBA Landscape Architects that we participated in. We were lucky enough to obtain it.
Project Overview
The Richmond project consisted of nine different HDU signs throughout the city. (HDU is High-Density-Urethane that is commonly used in dimensional sign making.) The project consisted of a great deal of custom routing on the HDU panel board. After routing was completed it went into prep and paint. Our staff took great pride in caring for these boards throughout the fabrication process.
Once fabrication was completed and our custom post arrived from Ornamental Post, we started installing the signage. Installation consists of digging foundations to code, and pouring cement with dent bolts. These bolts come in handy just in case there is an accident with the sign. Our installation crew took their time in installing each sign so it was completely perfect.
The Result
The city was very excited to see this project completed. They were so great to work with and always helpful when our installation team needed anything. What an exciting project for Signarama to work on! It was something different compared to our everyday grind. We were happy to be a part of the beatification of the City of Richmond.
