Upon leasing their new headquartes in Rochester Hills, MPI contracted us to produce their building signage. With a simple one color logo and a three letter company name it was decided we were going to produce channel letters. This particular set was what we call “Flush Mount”. A flush mount set of channel letters are when the 5″ deep fabricated aluminum letters are mounted directly to the wall facade individually rather than the as one unit on a raceway (5″ deep metal box). One main difference between a raceway set and a flush set if the number of holes that would be drilled in the wal. Typically most landlords prefer the raceway method as there would be less drill penetrations in the wall and upon removal that surface would be more presentable. An additional thing to consider if purchasing flush mount LED channel letters is that there must be clear access on the backside of the wall surface to run the power to the electrical box on the inside.
If your landlord permits this signage option and your are looking for a more distict look for your building sign than flush mount channel letters might be a good option to consider.
We are proud to have added this set of channel letters into our portfolio of building signs in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
