In the wonderful world of signs – you see all types of colors, ideas shapes, and shades. If you could imagine what would be your perfect color for any type of signage, what would it be? All customers are different and want all types of colors. Some customers are classic. Examples: a Medical Sign would be blue or red. Then you have customers who want to be different not your typical medical building, they want to stand out for a good reason. So they choose Orange or Green that would complain about their logo or their building. We suggest at Signarama that your color scheme be something that you are going to love for the next 10-15 years. That it does not blend in with the surrounding; i.e. if there is a lot of greenery around – your sign should have warmer colors on it, to pop out from the background and not blend in.
Another thing to keep in mind is certain cities around the United States will only allow certain colors due to their city policies. i.e. Bloomfield Hills, MI only allows black and gold, so when you drive through their city signs are all the same and have little personality. If you are in a city that only allows certain color schemes a great way to keep the boring city color and modernize your sign.
