About The Client
Teijin called us looking for a wall sign. They didn’t have one and their building had just been painted dark gray. They originally reached out to have the faces changed in their monument signs and that expanded to an exterior sign. They have a simple logo, with no tagline.
Project Overview
The channel letters were sized as big as we thought was necessary. We used red acrylic faces with red LEDs to get the reddest color when going from day to night. The channel letters were mounted on a raceway before being attached to the exterior façade, above the front entrance.
With no hiccups in the project, the job moved fast. Once the artwork was sent over, it was approved in a matter of days. Auburn Hills took about a week for permitting and then we went into production. Once in production, we were able to build the channel letters and install them in about 3 weeks. This brought us to about 5 weeks from start to finish.
The Result
Teijin loves theirs channel letters! Their building faces an expressway and the sign is easily visible. Keeping with just the company name for the sign, this allows for minimal distraction for drivers who are noticing the sign. Since then, we have changed our panels for them at a different building and swapped our old lighting for LEDs. We enjoy working with Teijin!
