About The Client
As a new local restaurant, Zeoli’s reached out to us with a brand concept they needed help making into a reality. Their objective was to open a new Italian-themed restaurant with a quality dining experience and a relaxed feel. Their vision included bold colors, unique decorations, and a way to bring an artistic element into the small community of downtown Clawson.
Project Overview
The owner of Zeoli’s met us at our offices to discuss the look and feel of the signage. We had a unique opportunity to utilize the new art program the city launched so we decided to pursue a 17′ outdoor wall mural with bold colors to enhance the downtown community’s program while also tying in the Zeoli’s brand in a subtle way.
For the entrance sign, our decision was to step away from the traditional ideas and create a sign that represented the creative interior space while also catching the eye of customers on the busy downtown streets.
Signarama achieved this by custom fabricating a 7′ tall blade sign that would sit at an angle on the corner so that it could be viewed from all traffic angles. The trim was painted in matching bold colors to tie into the mural and the lettering was produced by using custom halo letters for a functional but creative lighting look.
The Result
The completed look checked all of the client’s boxes. Driving through the downtown area and coming upon a clean white building with a large, bold art mural and impactful entrance signage enhanced the view of the community as well as the customer’s business.
