Over the decades, these companies grew and expanded, becoming industry leaders. In 2000, they were acquired by General Electric and combined into GE Polymershapes.
In 2008, Polymershapes became part of SABIC, a global petrochemicals manufacturer. However, in late 2016, the company regained its independence and returned to its roots as a dedicated distributor.
For over 70 years, Polymershapes has been committed to providing exceptional service and value to its customers and suppliers. The company continues to expand its expertise, portfolio, and branch network, setting new standards for excellence in the plastics distribution industry.

Signarama Troy was tasked with a total package branding update for Polymershapes as they relocated from Madison Heights to Troy. The project encompassed a variety of signage elements, both interior and exterior, to reflect the company’s brand identity and create a welcoming new workspace.

- Updated Monument Sign: The existing monument sign was modernized with new panels and a fresh logo.
- Non-Lit Metal Wall Sign: A sleek and professional wall sign was installed to enhance the interior space.

- Large Dimensional Lobby Sign: A prominent lobby sign was created to make a strong first impression.
