Project Overview
Pentastar was undergoing a brand refresh, including a new logo. The timing was perfect for an exterior signage update. Their building signage, facing the airport runway, had visible wear and fading.
The existing sign was mounted on a metal façade band. However, the surface showed discoloration, and removing the old sign would leave unsightly holes.
Signarama Troy proposed a smart solution. Instead of just replacing the letters, we wrapped the entire sign band in brand-color blue aluminum. This approach solved both visual and structural issues.
Additionally, we fabricated a 1” deep metal logo. It was installed with pin-mounts directly onto the new paneling. This created a sharp, dimensional look that matched their new identity.
To complete the project, we included three custom-bent trim pieces for the canopy edges and fabricated non-lit dimensional letters for the new logo.
This was more than a sign replacement. It was a transformation.

The transformation was dramatic—and immediate. The refreshed façade gives the building a polished, modern look that reflects Pentastar’s brand identity.
The blue aluminum paneling aligns seamlessly with their updated color palette. Plus, it eliminated any evidence of the old signage, including discoloration and drill holes.
The dimensional logo adds depth and professionalism. It looks great from both the ground and the runway.
Pentastar now has a sign that reflects who they are: elite, modern, and focused on excellence. More importantly, the signage reinforces their brand promise every time a client arrives or departs.
