Towards the end of 2012 Heard & Taylor contacted Signarama to get some preliminary pricing for the funeral home they were to open in the upcoming months. At the time, they did not know what style they wanted nor did they have a budget in mind. After going to the site they were a couple things we noted. The first concern was being able to clear the 6′ metal fence around the perimeter with the signage. Secondly, being at a major intersection they wanted to choose a sign that would give them the best visibility. After providing quotes for a non illuminated post and panel sign and illuminated pylon sign the cost of the box sign pretty much eliminated that option since it was around $8-$10k.
Months had passed and it was mid-may when Heard & Taylor was ready to order their sign. With their logo identity established they decided to proceed with the non-lit full color post and panel sign. We printed their logo directly to 48″ x 96″ 6mm Dibond (metal) panels and installed them onto 4×4 wood posts in a v-shape fashion.
Overall I think the post and panel sign was the right fit for the price and the location.
