Troy, MI, September 23, 2013– Signarama Troy has expanded its product offerings with the purchase of a state of the art laser engraver from Universal Laser Systems. The capabilities of the new piece of equipment will take their product offerings to a whole new level, unmatched by any competitors in the Metro Detroit area.
“The purchase of a laser engraver allows us to work on an entire market we haven’t been able to provide for. Now we can offer a whole new range of products to our clients, produced in house. This equipment will be a great asset to our business with all the exciting new construction and reinvention of Detroit,” stated Bob Chapa, President of Signarama Troy.
The laser engraver has the ability to personalize items such as ADA signs, directory signs, glasses,key chains, plaques, awards and much more. It features a multi-level processor that can cut, engrave, mark, and produce photographic images in one step. It is able to process a wide variety of materials including glass, plastic, metal, fabric, leather, wood, stone, paper and more. It can cut through substrates up to a ½” thick and can accommodate materials up to 24 x 18 x 9”.
