Giving Back to the Community
The team at Signarama Troy is working hard this month to celebrate Pi Day (3/14) while making a difference. From March 1st through March 14th at 3:14 PM, employees will collect food for Gleaners Food Bank. The goal is simple: fill donation boxes labeled with each leadership team member’s name. The person whose box has the most food donated—or the box that gets filled first—will be pied by the raffle winner! As a bonus, everyone attending will get to enjoy some delicious pie while supporting a great cause.
Why Gleaners Food Bank?
Gleaners Food Bank is dedicated to providing households with access to nutritious food. Through collaboration, education, and innovative solutions, they work toward a hunger-free community in Southeast Michigan. Headquartered in Detroit, Gleaners serves Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston, and Monroe counties. They support nearly 350 partner organizations, including food pantries, shelters, and schools. In addition, Gleaners operates drive-up grocery distributions to help families in need. Gleaners also offers nutrition classes aimed at breaking generational cycles of poor nutrition and hunger. Their advocacy work helps create long-term solutions to food insecurity. For every dollar donated, Gleaners provides three meals, ensuring that contributions make a real impact.
