About Gesher Human Services:
Gesher Human Services, a non-profit organization in metro Detroit, is dedicated to enhancing lives through career development, behavioral health, and residential services. Formed by the merger of JVS Human Services and Kadima, Gesher leverages over 110 years of combined experience to strengthen the community by empowering individuals.
Serving as a bridge to hope and opportunity, Gesher’s diverse programs meet the needs of both Metro Detroiters and the Jewish community. With a network of over 400 employees and volunteers across 25 locations in southeast Michigan, Gesher annually impacts the lives of more than 26,000 individuals and families. The organization strives to create positive change for a more stable and fulfilling community.
Project Overview:
Signarama Troy undertook a rebranding project for Gesher Human Services, one of two locations involved in the comprehensive signage update. The primary goal was to maintain a consistent look and feel with the previous signage while incorporating Gesher’s new branding. The project involved meticulous attention to detail to ensure a seamless transition that reflected the organization’s values and identity.
One of the notable challenges encountered during the project was securing approvals from the city. Navigating the intricate process of obtaining permits and gaining final approval presented a significant hurdle. Signarama Troy, however, demonstrated expertise in managing these complexities, successfully addressing the regulatory requirements and overcoming obstacles to move the project forward.

Despite the challenges, Signarama Troy achieved remarkable results in rebranding Gesher Human Services. The updated signage now seamlessly integrates the new branding while preserving the established visual identity.
