In the wonderful world of signs – you see all types of colors, ideas shapes and shades. If you could imagine what would be your perfect color for any type of signage, what would it be? Red, blue or even hot pink. Here at SIGNARAMA we help you with every detail including color. Making sure all of our customers leave with a great feeling that their customized sign will have a great color scheme.
All customers are different and want all types of colors. Some customers are classic. Examples: a Medical Sign would be blue or red. Then you have customers who want to be different not your typical medical building, they want to stand out for a good reason. So they choose Orange or Green that would complaint their logo or their building. We suggest at SIGNARAMA that your color scheme be something that you are going to love for the next 10-15 years. That it does not blend in with the surrounding; i.e. if there is a lot of greenery around – your sign should be have warmer colors on it, to pop out from the background and not blend in.
Another thing to to keep in mind is certain cities around the United States will only allow certain colors due to their city policies. i.e. Bloomfield Hills, MI only allows black and gold, so when you drive through their city signs are all the same and have little personality. If you are in a city that only allows certain color schemes a great way to keep the boring city color and modernize your sign.
So please bring in any idea or thought about color schemes and here at SIGNARAMA we can help you decide if it is the right way to go. We are your one stop shop for design, permits and fabrication.
Did someone hit your mailbox…AGAIN?
As many times as I’ve replaced my mailbox, you’d think driver’s licenses were given out in boxes of Cracker Jacks. Between the snowplow, the teenage kids with learners permits, and my mother-in-law, I should have bought stock in 4×4’s & mailboxes. The local collision shop knows most of my family by our first name.
All kidding aside, wouldn’t it be great if you could accidentally run into your mailbox and experience minimal damage to not only the box but your car? Well, now you can. SIGNARAMA offers a flexible post system that is impact resistant. With 360 degrees of flexibility, you can rest assured that your mailbox, and anything that comes into contact with it, will not produce the typically huge liability you’ve grown accustom to.
The Flexible post system is designed to bend or fall away when struck by a vehicle. In climates that experience winter snow, the sturdy steel spike, steel post, and shock-absorbing spring will allow your mailbox to flex when struck by ice or snow. When the snow clears, the post will return to it’s fully upright position.
The Flexible Post System meets the guidelines for the United States Postal Service. According to USPS.com, “For posts and supports, it’s up to you to keep them neat and adequate in strength and size. Ideally, its assembly should bend or fall away when struck by a vehicle. The Postal Service doesn’t regulate mailbox supports except for purposes of carrier safety and delivery efficiency. It’s also your responsibility to ensure a path is clear to your mailbox so that carriers can safely and efficiently deliver the mail.”
Call SIGNARAMA Troy to order your Flexible Mailbox Post System. Mailbox not included.
